We broadcast to Fuerteventura and Lanzarote, currently reaching from Antigua in Fuerteventura to Teguise in Lanzarote.

Inaugurated on Wednesday by the King of Spain Juan Carlos FITUR is the big Tourism exhibition by Spain to the rest of the World in Madrid. The picture shows the Island being represented as a fun place for beaches, sun and sports. Visitors to the stand can win a holiday under the title Fuerteventura is the beach (spelling) of the Canaries. The 3 central figures are the president if the Canarian government, Paulino Rivero, our tourism councillor Agueda Montelongo, and the president of our cabildo Mario Cabrera. The show will also be used to sign new connections with Spanair.

Puerto Works Continue

Recently the Cabildo moved to re-assure the local businesses in Puerto that the various shopping zone re-habilitation works were on course to be completed, and had sufficient funding including European money. These major works in and around the centre of the Capital will lead to better access for the customers and improve trade especially for the medium and smaller businesses (as long as they can survive in the meantime).

This is a picture of the recent meeting of 350 residents from the 12 hunters associations in Pozo Negro showing off various types of hunting dogs, including the beautiful Canarian Podenco (2 featured). There are nearly 2000 hunting dog licences on this island (with a population of 100,000, have you got yours!) and far too many hunting dogs. Okapi find them tied to rocks and trees and left to starve to death in the remote valleys. Let's hope most of these owners are the one's who respect their animals. If you see an animal suffering contact Okapi.

1. To listen using the popup player, which will start automatically , you must have popups allowed for this site. In Internet Explorer and Firefox, you may see a message displayed to say popups are blocked. READ THIS MESSAGE. Follow instructions on you browser to allow popups for this site. If you have already BLOCKED POPUPS, then follow these intructions:

Using Internet Explorer
click on Tools on the top bar, in the drop down menu highlight Pop-up Blocker and choose pop-up blocker settings, a box will open. Type in www.radioqfm.com in the address to allow box and click the ADD button. Click on Close. Restart your browser.

Using Firefox
click on Tools on the top bar, in the drop down menu Click on Options. In the Options Box click on the Content Tab You will see Block popup windows is ticked, that's ok. Beside that there is a button Exceptions Click on that one. Type in www.radioqfm.com in the address of website and click the Allow button. Click on Close then ok. Restart your browser.

Then you must close your browser and restart it. when you enter www.radioqfm.com , the music will start automatically

2. Click the start button on the embedded Player.
